Hi there,
ReplyDeleteI never heard of Grace Slick before, thanks.
A female rock song I would recommend is "Run baby run", for me the best song on “bleed like me” album(2005). I also loved "l-l-love" by astaire , on the “monster in law” soundtrack.
By the way, if you want to stream videos on your blog? Try copying the code below the youtube videos into a word-document, then copy from word to your blogger. I had trouble with this myself at first ( ;
Thank you very much for the video advice! I was and still am unsure about working with this site.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely check out the songs you recommended! Thank you
Cheers (-:
Your welcome (with the advice, and song suggestions)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I am calling for my "readers" this week to name some of their top albums of 2010, maybe you have a couple of aces up your sleeve I might like ?
(You can see what my taste in music is on my blogger profile)

ReplyDeleteOh and thought I would tell ya that Grace Slick was a part of four bands in the 60's- Jefferson Airplane, The Great Society, Jefferson Starship, & Starship hah. She was also a solo musician for a while, does this sound more familiar? (-:
ReplyDeleteOh and I would be happy to send some new music your way, feel free to do the same!
Knowledge of rock music is not my strength, so sorry, Grace Slick still doesn't ring a bell
ReplyDeleteElectronic?, lets see, I don't know what you already know. Here are a few albums I would recommend, past and present :
All albums by Air
Ray of light – Madonna
Gemini – Wild nothing (2010)
Seventh tree – Gold frapp
The Best of Volume 1 - Depeche Mode
Play - Moby
Best of – new order
Or if you like a good mix, maybe try the Garden state soundtrack .
Other electronic artists (or near enough) worth checking out:
Beck, Conjure one, Lamb, Thievery corporation, Hot chip, etc
Any of those artists you are not familiar with ? Hope you find something you like ( :
